Remembering the '20's
I recently became inspired to re-do one of my ball joint dolls into a '20's girl after watching an old film on tv. This was a fun project since, after all, the 20's was a very artsy period. Most of the 1920's was a very happy decade. People were dancing, enjoying radio, women got to vote, the first talkie came out and Micky Mouse in 'Steamboat Willie' was released by Disney.
It was a time of prohibition, prosperity, gansters, fads, fashions, and Jazz! Not to mention the famous Scopes Monkey Trial where school teacher John Scopes was made famous and charged for teaching evolution in his high school class...
